Ken-A-Vision Comparison Microscope

Trekker Microscope

• The Trekker microscope was designed by Rick Dickinson, the product designer of the Sinclair ZX81 and Spectrum computers and the new Gizmondo. The Trekker is fun to use and its unique and inspired design makes it an extremely attractive object. But it is also a robust precision instrument designed to withstand the rigours of constant use in all manner of situations. The small size (diameter 100mm, depth 25mm) comes from the use of folded optics and the fully coated lenses provide beautifully clear, sharp, high resolution images. A white LED annular lighting system gives bright, daylight-corrected illumination. Power is provided by a 9 volt PP3 battery which gives over 100 hours of continuous operation - a very useful feature in school applications.
